LeepCast is a personal blog published by Dhileep Kumar. This page explains, in plain language, what information the site handles and how. It keeps things deliberately simple, because the site itself is simple.
What we collect
We collect as little as possible. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store the email address you provide. The site is hosted on Vercel, which automatically processes standard server logs — things like your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request — to keep the site secure and reliable.
How we use it
A newsletter email is used solely to send you LeepCast updates, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell, rent, or trade the personal information you give us.
Cookies and analytics
The site remembers your light or dark theme preference locally in your browser; that setting never leaves your device. LeepCast also shows ads through Google AdSense, which sets cookies — see Advertising below. If basic, privacy-respecting analytics are enabled in future, they will be limited to aggregate traffic counts.
Advertising
LeepCast shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and others, so what you see is more relevant. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and review how Google handles data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com.
Third-party services
A few external services make the site work: Vercel (hosting and delivery), Unsplash (cover images), and Google AdSense (advertising). Links to other sites are not under our control, and their privacy practices are their own.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email, and you can contact us to ask what we hold or to request deletion.
