I'm the person behind LeepCast — writing and filming about AI, software, and the craft of building. Here to cut through the noise and share the signal.

hi, i'm
dhileep.
The longer version
I've spent years building production software — full-stack systems, backend services, and lately the messy, fascinating edge where machine learning meets real hardware. I hold a master's in Data Science & AI, but most of what I know came from shipping things that had to actually work, not just demo well.
LeepCast is where I write and film about that work. The tech world runs on hype cycles and recycled press releases; this site is my attempt at the opposite. Every deep-dive here is something I've thought through, built, or broken myself — RAG pipelines that survive production, running LLMs on your own hardware, fine-tuning small models, the architecture decisions nobody warns you about until they bite. No filler, no SEO sludge, no “10 AI tools that will change your life.”
A lot of it traces back to Chinnu, my Telugu-speaking robot dog — three neural networks running offline on a Raspberry Pi 5 CPU, no GPU, no cloud. Building it taught me more about edge AI, quantization, and working within hard constraints than any course did. That's the throughline of everything here: first-principles understanding, built from scratch, explained the way I'd want it explained to me.

Building things, not just reading about them? That's who this is for.
I read everything.
